Understanding Contacts
Contacts in Orbit AI are automatically created when someone submits a form with an email address. Each contact aggregates all submissions from the same email, giving you a unified view of each person's interactions with your forms.
Contact Profile
Each contact includes:
- Email address (unique identifier)
- First and last name
- Phone number and company
- All form submissions linked to this contact
- Tags for organization
- Activity timeline and edit history
Working with Tags
Tags help you categorize and segment your contacts. Use them to organize leads, track customer journeys, or segment for marketing campaigns.
Adding Tags
Add tags to contacts manually from the contact detail page, or automatically via the API and integrations when form submissions occur.
Removing Tags
Remove tags when they're no longer relevant. This keeps your segmentation clean and ensures your workflows target the right contacts.

Editing Contacts
Update contact information to keep your data accurate. You can edit a contact's profile fields like name, phone, and company.
