Getting Your Cometly Pixel
Before adding Cometly tracking to your forms, you'll need to get your pixel code from your Cometly account:
Log in to Cometly
Go to your Cometly dashboard at cometly.com and sign in to your account.
Navigate to Space Setup
From your dashboard, go to your Space settings where you can find your tracking pixel.
Copy your pixel code
Copy the full script tag that looks like: <script src="https://t.cometlytrack.com/e?uid=..."></script>

Open your form settings
Go to your form in the dashboard and click on the "Integrate" tab.
Find Cometly
Scroll down to the Cometly section under Tracking & Analytics.
Paste your pixel code
Paste the full script tag you copied from Cometly into the Cometly Pixel Code field.
Save your changes
Click Save to apply the changes. The pixel will now load when your form is viewed.
Pixel Code Format
Your Cometly pixel code should look something like this:
<script src="https://t.cometlytrack.com/e?uid=YOUR_UNIQUE_ID"></script>Important: Paste the complete script tag, not just the URL. The code must start with <script and end with </script>.
Verifying the Integration
After adding your pixel, you can verify it's working correctly:
- Open your form in a new browser tab
- Check your Cometly dashboard for the tracking event
- Use browser developer tools (Network tab) to confirm the script loads
- Submit a test form and verify the event appears in Cometly
Troubleshooting
Pixel not firing?
Make sure you pasted the complete script tag including the opening and closing script tags. Also verify the URL starts with https://t.cometlytrack.com or https://cometly.com.
Events not showing in Cometly?
There may be a short delay before events appear. If events still don't show after a few minutes, check that your pixel code is correct and that you've published your form.
Security warning when pasting code?
For security, we only accept Cometly scripts from trusted domains (cometlytrack.com, cometly.com). Other scripts will be rejected.
