Setting Up the Integration
Get your SimilarWeb API key
Visit the SimilarWeb Developer Portal to obtain your API key. You'll need a SimilarWeb subscription that includes API access.
Connect in Orbit AI
Go to Integrations in your dashboard, find SimilarWeb, and enter your API key. We'll validate it before saving.
Add to your workflow
Create or edit a workflow and add a SimilarWeb enrichment node. Map the domain field from your form (website URL, company domain, or email).
Use enriched data
The enriched data is available to downstream nodes. Use filters to route high-traffic leads to enterprise sales or qualify based on digital presence.

API Key Security
Your API key is encrypted
Your SimilarWeb API key is encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption. It's never exposed in the browser or logs. Only the workflow engine decrypts it during enrichment execution.
Troubleshooting
No data returned for a domain?
SimilarWeb may not have data for very small or new websites. The enrichment will return null values for unavailable metrics.
API rate limit exceeded?
SimilarWeb has rate limits based on your subscription. Consider batching requests or upgrading your plan for higher limits.
Invalid API key error?
Double-check your API key in the SimilarWeb Developer Portal. Make sure the key has access to the Web Traffic API endpoints.
Domain not extracted correctly?
Ensure the input field contains a valid domain, URL, or email address. Invalid formats will be rejected.
