Prerequisites
- A Slack workspace where you have permission to install apps
- At least one Orbit AI form ready to connect
- Access to the channel where you want notifications sent
Setup Guide

Connect your Slack workspace
In your form's Integrations tab, click "Add Integration" and select Slack. Click "Connect to Slack" to authorize Orbit AI.

Authorize the app
Sign in to your Slack workspace and grant Orbit AI permission to post messages. We only request the minimum required permissions.

Select a channel
Choose which Slack channel should receive form submission notifications. You can select any public or private channel.

Customize your message
Configure which form fields appear in the notification. Add a custom header or use the default format.

Enable and test
Toggle the integration on and submit a test form entry. Check your Slack channel to verify the notification arrived.
Notification Format
Each Slack notification includes key information about the form submission:

Using Slack with Workflows
Slack notifications work seamlessly with Orbit AI workflows. You can trigger notifications at any point in your automation:
- Send a notification only when a lead is qualified by AI scoring

Tips for Success
- • Create a dedicated channel for form notifications to avoid cluttering general channels
- • Use Slack's notification settings to control alert frequency and avoid notification fatigue
