What It Does

The AI Notetaker joins your meetings via a bot, records the audio, and transcribes the conversation in real-time. After the meeting, it uses AI (powered by Claude) to extract structured insights including summaries, action items, key topics, and sentiment analysis — all without you lifting a finger.

How to Enable

Getting started with the AI Notetaker takes just a few clicks.

Open the Notetaker page

Navigate to the Notetaker page from the sidebar in your dashboard.

Go to the Settings tab

Click the Settings tab at the top of the Notetaker page to access configuration options.

Toggle the Notetaker on

Flip the toggle to enable the AI Notetaker. It will begin joining meetings based on your auto-join configuration.

Auto-Join Configuration

Control which meetings the bot automatically joins. You can configure auto-join behavior by meeting type, and customize the bot's display name and image that participants see when it enters the meeting.

Configuration Options

  • Auto-join by meeting type — select which calendar event types trigger the bot
  • Bot name — customize the display name shown to meeting participants
  • Bot image — upload a custom avatar for the recording bot
  • Manual join — optionally start recording for specific meetings on demand

Credit Usage

The AI Notetaker uses 10 AI credits per hour of recording, billed in 6-minute increments.

For example, a 35-minute meeting would use 6 credits (rounded up to the next 6-minute block). A 1-hour meeting uses the full 10 credits. Credits cover recording, transcription, and AI analysis.

Meetings Tab

The Meetings tab on the Notetaker page shows all your recorded meetings. Each entry displays the meeting title, date, duration, and processing status. Click any meeting to view the full transcript, AI-generated summary, extracted action items, key topics, and sentiment analysis.

Workflow Integration

The AI Notetaker integrates with Workflows via the meeting_completed trigger. When a meeting finishes processing, it can automatically trigger a workflow that routes the data to your CRM, sends follow-up emails, creates tasks, or performs any other automated action.

Trigger: meeting_completed

Use this trigger in your workflows to automatically process meeting data. The payload includes the transcript, summary, action items, attendees, and all extracted field values.
