Pre-configured data extraction templates that automatically pull structured information from your meeting transcripts. Choose from built-in frameworks like BANT and MEDDIC, or create your own custom fields.
What Are Field Presets?
Field presets are pre-configured data extraction templates that tell the AI what specific information to look for in your meeting transcripts. Instead of reading through an entire transcript to find whether a prospect mentioned their budget, the AI automatically extracts that value and presents it in a structured format.
Each preset contains a set of fields. After a meeting is processed, the AI analyzes the transcript and fills in values for each field based on what was discussed. If a topic wasn't covered, the field is left empty.

Budget, Authority, Need, Timeline — the classic sales qualification framework.
MEDDIC
Metrics, Economic Buyer, Decision Criteria, Decision Process, Identify Pain, Champion.

Custom Fields
Create your own extraction fields tailored to your specific needs. Define a field name and a description that tells the AI what to look for in the transcript. The more specific your description, the more accurate the extraction will be.

How Extraction Works
After a meeting is recorded and transcribed, the AI analyzes the full transcript against your configured field presets. It identifies relevant passages and extracts values for each field, providing structured data you can review and act on.

View extracted values in the Fields tab of the meeting detail page. Empty fields indicate the topic wasn't discussed.
Team-Level Configuration
Field presets are configured at the team level. Navigate to the Fields tab on the main Notetaker page to select which built-in presets to enable, create custom fields, and manage your extraction configuration. Changes apply to all future meetings for your team.
