Emailable Integration
Fast and accurate email verification service
The Emailable integration provides fast, accurate email verification for your Orbit AI forms. When a visitor enters their email address, Emailable validates it in real-time to identify risky and low-quality addresses. How Email Validation Works
When a user enters an email address in your form, Emailable analyzes it in real-time and returns a comprehensive verification status. Orbit AI then applies your configured blocking rules to determine if the email should be accepted.
Verification Results
| Status | Description | Action |
|---|---|---|
| Deliverable | Email exists and can receive mail | Allowed |
| Undeliverable | Email does not exist or is invalid | Blocked |
| Risky | Email may have delivery issues | Allowed* |
| Disposable | Temporary/throwaway email address | Configurable |
| Role | Generic business email (info@, etc.) | Configurable |
| Free | Free email provider (Gmail, etc.) | Configurable |
Note: Risky emails are allowed by default since they may still be valid. These include emails from domains with aggressive spam protection or temporary network issues.
Blocking Options
Configure which types of emails to block on the Integrate tab of each form. Each option gives you fine-grained control over the quality of email addresses you accept.
Block free email addresses
Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, etc. This blocks emails from free providers like Gmail or Yahoo. Use this if you only want business emails.
Example: john@gmail.com would be blocked, but john@acme.com would be allowed.
Block role accounts
info@, support@, admin@, etc. This blocks generic email addresses that aren't tied to a real person. Role accounts are typically managed by multiple people or automated systems, making them less valuable for personal outreach.
Example: info@company.com or support@company.com would be blocked, but sarah@company.com would be allowed.
Block disposable emails
Temporary/throwaway addressesDisposable emails are temporary addresses that expire after a short time. People use them to avoid giving their real email. These leads have very low value since you won't be able to reach them again.
Example: user123@tempmail.com or random@guerrillamail.com would be blocked.
User Experience
Email verification happens seamlessly as users fill out your form. Here's what they experience:
Valid Email
A green checkmark appears next to the email field, indicating the address is valid. The user can proceed with submission.
Invalid Email
An error message explains why the email was rejected. The user must enter a valid email address to continue.
Troubleshooting
Emails aren't being verified?
Check that Emailable is enabled on the specific form's Integrate tab. Also verify your API key is valid by testing the connection on the Integrations page.
Valid emails are being rejected?
Review your blocking options. If you have "Block free email addresses" enabled, personal Gmail addresses would be blocked even if they're valid.
Verification seems slow?
Emailable typically responds very quickly. If verification consistently takes longer than expected, check your network connection and API credit balance.
API credits running out quickly?
Each email verification uses one API credit. If you have high-traffic forms, consider upgrading your Emailable plan or limiting verification to specific forms.
Integration was disconnected?
Your API key may have been regenerated in Emailable. Get your new API key and reconnect the integration in Orbit AI.
API Key Management
Your Emailable API key is securely encrypted and stored. You can update or disconnect it at any time:
- Go to Integrations in your Orbit AI dashboard
- Click on Emailable to open the integration settings
- Use "Update API Key" to change your key, or "Disconnect" to remove it
- Click "Test Connection" to verify your API key is working
